Bali Classic Roman Shades in the Castleweave collection have a light filtering material made of 100% polyester. This fabric has moderate privacy which allows light to gently filter through the material and may cause images and shapes to be seen but details are not visible. Shades and valances are one continuous piece of fabric that provides a unified finished look. There is an applied backing that is neutral to the street side. Fabric appearance can vary based on the lighting and time of day, as well as when the shade is partially or fully lowered. Colors may vary between dye lots. It is recommended to order the shades for the same room at the same time. Oeko-Tex Stanard 100 certifies that their fabrics are free of PVC, halogen, lead, formaldehyde, allergenic dyes, pesticides, phenols and heavy metals and also meet all VOC content limits.
Fabric Roman shades are available in Flat or Looped (Tear Drop Style) styles. Looped is an additional surcharge.

![]() The Continuous Cord Loop provides easy operation of larger heavier shades. A powerful clutch lifts the shade and holds it steady without the cord loop changing length. The included cord loop guide provides tension and must be installed for the shade to operate. This device also keeps the cord out of reach of children and/or pets to eliminate dangling cord hazards. |

Tips To Remember:
Use a steel measuring tape
Round down to the nearest 1/8" for width
Round up to the nearest 1/8" for height
See Product Specifications for more specific product info
Sizes should always be provided in this format: Width x Height
On any measurement given, the factory does have a +/- 1/8 of an inch variance allowance
Inside Mount Width
- Measure the exact width (left to right) of the inside edge of the window frame in three places (top, middle and bottom)
- Take the smallest of the three measurements to the nearest 1/8 of an inch
- The factory will take an approximate 3/8 of an inch deduction from the total width (headrail and fabric) to allow for correct installation
Inside Mount Height
- Measure the exact height (top to bottom) from the top inside edge down to the window sill in three spots across window
- Take the largest of the three measurements.
Outside Mount Width
- Measure the exact width (left to right) of the wooden or metal window frame (outer edge) OR however wide you want the finished product to be
- Be sure to measure wide enough to cover the entire window plus offer enough coverage to avoid light or privacy gap. This is especially important if you have no trim and are installing to sheet rock or dry wall surfaces. 1-2 inches past the opening on EACH side is suggested if you do not have molding/trim
- French doors should have a minimum of 1 inch past the glass on each side for proper light coverage
Outside Mount Height
- Measure from the top to bottom edge of the window frame/trim. If no trim, be sure you provide the height you want the finished product to be from the top of the headrail to the bottom of the bottom rail
- Be sure to allot for coverage for proper light control and mounting hardware. If mounting above the window opening to the wall surface, you will need 2 inches of surface area.
- French doors should have a minimum of 2 inches above the glass on the surface of the door for installation brackets and 2 inches below for hold down brackets
