Bali Coastal Beach Layered Shades are a light filtering fabric made of 100% polyester and have dual layers of horizontal stripes of fabric alternating between sheer and semi-opaque/opaque fabric. When open and stripes are aligned, light filters through the sheer material. These shades control the amount of light coming in and the view to outside with the shade partially raised or lowered. *PLEASE NOTE: to enhance fabric durability and reduce fraying, all layered inside mount cordless shades will experience an additional 1/8 inch adjustment in light gap on each side. The light gap will now measure 11/16 inch on each side. For shades with a cord loop and square cassette there will be a 1/4" deduction from the fabric and hem bar. This change slightly increases the light gap on the non-control side (by 1/4" compared to the curved cassette) to help reduce the chance of contact with the endcap snap tab.

Tips To Remember:
Use a steel measuring tape
Round down to the nearest 1/8" for width
Round up to the nearest 1/8" for height

Sizes should always be provided in this format: Width x Height
On any measurement given, the factory does have a +/- 1/8 of an inch variance allowance.
Measuring for Roller Shades
Inside Mount Width
Measure the exact width (left to right) of the inside edge of the window frame in three places (top, middle and bottom).
Take the smallest of the three measurements to the nearest 1/8 of an inch.
The factory will make the correct deduction from the total width to allow for brackets and correct installation. Roller shades have generally large deductions due to the nature of the product (roller and hardware) -PLEASE CALL FOR SPECIFIC FABRIC AND TUBE DEDUCTIONS. Fabric is usually minimally 1 1/8" less than the ordered width on inside mount .
Inside Mount Height
Measure the exact height (top to bottom) from the top inside edge down to the window sill in three spots across window.
Take the largest of the three measurements and enter it as the height.
Outside Mount Width
Measure the exact width (left to right) of the wooden or metal window frame (outer edge) OR how wide you want the product to be installed.
For Solar Shades or Roller Shades, make sure the measurement overlaps the window opening by at least 2" to this measurement to ensure light control and privacy. For Zebra shades add 1 /2 inch to the width for coverage and privacy.
Outside Mount Height
Measure the top and bottom edge of window frame/trim. If no trim, be sure you provide the height you want the shade to be from top of the headrail to bottom of the bottom rail.
Be sure to allow for coverage for light control and mounting hardware if mounting above window opening to wall surface. You will need 2 inches of surface area to mount above opening. Call us for further instruction if needed.
Installation Instructions-Cassette Headrail
Shipping fees are included in most products online. The exceptions are Norm Brand and freight sizes. Shipping fees will be seen prior to completing your order in the shopping cart. There may be freight exceptions depending on the quantity of freight items on the order. All vendors have different freight policies. You may receive an email or phone call in the unusual circumstance where additional charges apply.
Hawaii and Alaska Deliveries: Surcharges are online and will apply to your order for most products shipping to Alaska or Hawaii. There are some cases with larger orders where you may get a call from us with additional charges for orders shipping here.

Most custom products take approximately 2-3 weeks from ordering to delivery. Our Quick Ship brand products usually ship within 5-7 business days depending on the current supply and demand of the product. Woven Wood/Natural Shade products run 3-4 weeks for delivery as there are natural materials used to make these shades. The North American Shutter collection is on a 4-5 week timeframe for delivery. ALL other standard Shutter collections are taking 8-10 weeks for delivery.
Exceptions:
Freight items over 80 inches will take a few days longer to arrive as they ship by freight handlers. There are always exceptions if there are material shortages, production delays or during holidays. We do try and note material shortages on the product info pages if vendors notify us ahead of time.
