Norm Cordless Faux Wood blinds offer traditional elegance of faux wood blinds with a proven operating system. This 2 inch faux wood comes with a unique "stay put" smart privacy routeless slat at no additional charge. The standard valance-free PolyDeco headrail is a one piece integrated rail that comes with built-in light block for extra light protection. While these blinds can significnatly reduce light leakage, they are not slated to offer complete light coverage. Some light gaps especially toward the bottom of these cordless blinds is considered normal. For room darkening purposes, please consider a room darkening product such as blackout cellular shades. This product does not come with a standard valance but an optional Modern or Designer Crown Valance style are available for an upcharge. Tilt wand is always on the left side. Please note that on Intelligent Privacy Cordless faux wood blinds with widths less than 24", the bottom rail may not be level.

Tips To Remember:
Use a steel measuring tape
Round down to the nearest 1/8" for width
Round up to the nearest 1/8" for height

Sizes should always be provided in this format: Width x Height
On any measurement given, the factory does have a +/- 1/8 of an inch variance allowance.
Measure For Wood or Faux Wood Blinds
Inside Mount Width
• Measure the exact width (left to right) of the inside edge of the window frame in three places (top, middle and bottom).
• Take the smallest of the three measurements to the nearest 1/8 of an inch.
• The factory will take an approximate 1/2 of an inch deduction from the total width to allow for brackets and correct installation.
• When ordering inside mount be sure you have 3 inchs of depth for your brackets. If you don't order inside mount with returns. That is you measure your depth and subtract it from 3 inches and order retruns to cover your hardware.
Inside Mount Height
• Measure the exact height (top to bottom) from the top inside edge down to the window sill in three spots across window.
• Take the largest of the three measurements.
Outside Mount Width
• Measure the exact width (left to right) of the wooden or metal window frame (outer edge) OR how wide you want the product to be.
• Be sure to measure wide enough as to cover the entire window plus offer enough coverage to avoid light or privacy gap. 2 inches past the opening on EACH side is suggested if you do not have molding/trim.
• An Outside Valance with returns will be wider than the ordered width to accommodate covering the headrail and mount.
Outside Mount Height
• Measure the top and bottom edge of window frame/trim. If no trim, be sure you provide the height you want the shade to be from top of the headrail to bottom of the bottom rail.
• Be sure to allow for coverage for light control and mounting hardware if mounting above window opening to wall surface. You will need 2 inches of surface area to mount above opening. Call us for further instruction if needed.
Installation Instructions
Shipping fees are included in most products online. The exceptions are Norm Brand and freight sizes. Shipping fees will be seen prior to completing your order in the shopping cart. There may be freight exceptions depending on the quantity of freight items on the order. All vendors have different freight policies. You may receive an email or phone call in the unusual circumstance where additional charges apply.
Hawaii and Alaska Deliveries: Surcharges are online and will apply to your order for most products shipping to Alaska or Hawaii. There are some cases with larger orders where you may get a call from us with additional charges for orders shipping here.

Most custom products take approximately 2-3 weeks from ordering to delivery. Our Quick Ship brand products usually ship within 5-7 business days depending on the current supply and demand of the product. Woven Wood/Natural Shade products run 3-4 weeks for delivery as there are natural materials used to make these shades. The North American Shutter collection is on a 4-5 week timeframe for delivery. ALL other standard Shutter collections are taking 8-10 weeks for delivery.
Exceptions:
Freight items over 80 inches will take a few days longer to arrive as they ship by freight handlers. There are always exceptions if there are material shortages, production delays or during holidays. We do try and note material shortages on the product info pages if vendors notify us ahead of time.

Great functionally and looks amazing
What a great purchase. Followed the instructions on measuring and the blinds arrived perfectly sized. Installation instructions were clear and the install was easy peasy. They look great and work perfectly. I especially like the design with no slots for support lanyards. When closed, they significantly darken the room. My research paid off; these are exactly what I needed.
